GET TO KNOW ME

I earned my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the state of Florida. I have over fifteen years of experience providing therapy services in outpatient programs, group homes, and private practice. I began my career providing family counseling with the Family Preservation Project through The Children’s Home. I later transitioned to their residential group home where I worked with children in foster care. I became experienced working with trauma, abuse, and neglect, while also learning to navigate the child welfare system. For the past seven years I have worked in private practice, providing services to families, couples, children, and adults. I have experience working with ADHD, anger, anxiety, couples/relationship issues, depression, stress management, and behavioral issues. I am Adoption Certified and trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I provide a welcoming environment where you can safely express yourself and work towards personal growth; helping to establish goals, learn new skills, problem solve, and reduce emotional stress.
